I bought my CDTi mk1auto connie SE tourer last october and had mostly everything I wanted already. D I pack, Xenons, wood wheel, TV/ sat nav, serpents etc...

But this is what I have added/done so far...

Walnut gear leaver
Walnut handbrake
Real walnut dash from my saloon
Trafficmaster
Rover/MG bluetooth connected to the high line
Webasto FBH
Webasto 1533 timer
4 way remote to operate... 1) ATC panel. 2) ATC and FBH. 3) unlock and windows down. 4) lock and windows up..
Blue LED's on interior mirror to indicate operation of either ATC or FBH by remote
Embossed headrests from my saloon
Cleaned EGR
Replaced PCV
Headlight protectors
OEM carpet mats
5w interior bulbs
Rear parking camera
Aux power in the boot
Synergy2
Jetex air filter
Mk2 intake mod
Pollen filter
Cubby torch
Cubby aux power socket
Drivers grab handle
Drivers cup holder
2nd horn

And next... Put my infinity Kappa speakers in the doors

Just one question. How the heck have you got a ATC unit to work without the engine running. Surely it cannot cool the system to get you any air conditioning?

Hi Steven..

I should have said ATC PANEL... The air con won't work but the fan will at whatever setting you last left it at...

Simmler to the Webasto T100. For summer venting... Its enough to refresh the air inside if you can't leave the windows open...

Now you've got me thinking.

I wonder what the drain is on the car battery?

Might be another mod for me

Default Modifications

As in a previous post i showed my new after market 17in wheels
further to this i have just changed my insurance company from More Than to Lloyds TSB and have had to pay an extra £49.35 to cover the new wheels.
Even though i tried to explain that these cars were produced with various sized wheels it was still classed as a modification and i had to state the price of the wheels and pay the extra.

Any comments welcome
thanks
John

The funny thing is Morethan insurance is currently underwritten by LLoydsTSB.

Thanks in no small measure to the valuable information on upgrades on this forum, and the help of many members in locating and selling required parts to me, I have transformed Roxy from the car that I picked up several months ago

I wanted to give the old girl a little performance boost, and also restore a few of the Pre-project drive items that were more to my taste, as well as make her my own....

One of Jules uprated resisitors was fitted to the 2 speed fan which luckily for me, the original owner had chosen to have fitted by his dealer, Kerridges of Ipswich. You can see it cheekily poking out behind the Chrome grille which I got on Fleabay

Uprated Viton 'O' rings
Synergy 2 tuning module
EGR bypass
Jetex performance air filter recommended by Rover Ron
17 inch 7J chromed Meteor alloys to replace the sparkle silver Meteors on originally, and a new set of centre caps as mine were minging
Chrome valve stems and caps
'2.0 CDT' oval door badges
Heko full set of wind deflectors
Crofts Chrome door finisher set
2.0D chrome Jaguar boot badge to conceal a nasty dent
Front Rover mudflaps
Rear Rover mudflaps
Rover full 4 piece headlamp protector kit
Accessory ski bag in boot  I love it!
Walnut fascia kit
Original real wooden dash
Light oak and smokestone steering wheel
Rover Walnut auto gear knob
Rover walnut handbrake cover
Original Rover touring dipped beam headlamp protectors
Bootlid mounted warning triangle
Rover 75 chrome letters on warning triangle
Original Rover carpet set
Tyre protector spring kit
Updated BMW PCV unit
Chromed adjustable blindspot mirrors ( I'm lost without 'em)
Bonnet cable mod
Proper shaped rear number plate as it came with a standard one
Rover logo magnetic tax disc holder ha ha
Rover twin triangle set with logo gloves and velcro for boot (I swear I get 5mph more top speed with this in place
A new set of Pirelli P6000's which transformed the handling

Pre-Project drive bits restored

'Rover' logo front headrests
Original quarter pillar finishers with new Rover badges
'Rover' logo boot handle/plinth
Rover boot badge
Drivers grab handle
Front seatbelt anchorage black plastic bolt caps
Drivers side cup holder (essential for my Starbucks)
Original door reflector set

STORED IN THE REAR ARMREST:

Rover badged stainless steel and leather hip flask
Original Rover wet pack with razor/soap/mouthwash/talc/hand cream
Rover 75 engraved stainless shot cups in leather holder also engraved with Rover 75
Original rover leather jotter pad dating back to 1999
Rover jotter pen
Rover biro

She's vastly improved from the day I collected her, and begging to be driven by an owner who's striken with a very unpleasant case of the oink, oink, piggy Swine flu and not fit for anything other than looking out of the window at her..... I don't mind the Sty's and the Oinkment, or continually having the trots, it's the urge to keep rolling in the dirt that is bugging me......

Oh well, maybe I'll be fit enough for a drive next week
