The 75 reborn - Now as a hybrid
A report has surfaced that SAIC intend to use their version of the 75 platform as the basis of a new electric-hybrid car.
The technical details are bit vague, but it would appear the new model would use an energy pack from Johnson Controls and the re-engineering work is being handled by Ricardo. SAIC you will recall, rented a section of the Ricardo offices in Warwickshire until recently, housing a number of ex-MG R bods for developing their plans. |

Sounds very promising,
but with present Economic climate lets hope it doesn't disappear. |
