Am getting possession of our 75, or am I?
As you may know, my wife is convinced that the 75 is hers, just because I used that argument to get her to agree to me buying it. Admittedly she immediately loved the car but.....
Anyway, she has been unable to drive it for about 12 months now, due to a severe spinal problem. This has now been fixed and the surgeon has given her the OK to drive once more. (The positive side of this is that the car missed all of the winter weather) So, stir crazy and after a lot of nagging at me she got behind the wheel today in order to look after the car during my own hospital visit. (Worcester hospital parking is dire!) 5 miles down the road she decided that she has lost her confidence in driving and pulled in. I have to tell you that she is no shrinking violet. She held a class one HGV licence for nearly 20 years although you would never believe it of such a convent educated young lady! So, is it mine again? Or will she have another go? |

He won't have to, just leave it parked outside where she can see it

I'm not surprised she's lost her nerve, it's a big heavy car after all. Get a wee megane or something for her and you keep the 75.

She won't even get in it let alone drive it! She objects to it being on the drive! Hates it with a vengeance. (Zeb, SteveMac and others will probably agree.) She dislikes the Honda Legend Coupe but not with the same vehemence. However that is a seriously heavy, big 3.2L car! Hope she will be more receptive to the Mercedes C240 Estate when I finally get it on the road. A lot more quality problems than any 75. Big car again though... She only likes the 75 so she can't be all bad! We have too many cars. Not worth a fat lot all together. I'm rambling again. It's my age, sorry. |
