Fruit of the vine.
I’ve not seen this on here before and wondered if there are any viticulturists about. Considering the appreciation of good taste members have, given their choice in cars, good wines are an obvious compliment after garaging the car. For the night.
Just discovered in my local offie a very nice Yellowtail Shiraz at £7 a bottle. It's very nice and rather more-ish at about 2 quid a decent glass. After all, what could be more sociable.

Look for a red by Brown Brothers called Cienna. Or a Yellowtail Jammy Roo. And another smooth red is Jam Shed.

Agree on the Jam Shed. Fortunately, Celia never 'drinks', so it's all mine.

I am no longer a regular boozer, I only partake in the occasional glass of wine on the infrequent special occasion - usually Christmas but even then not always. Plus I tend to do so out of courtesy at that. Hic! But yea Gods, two quid a glass might drive many to drink just to get over the shock of that extortionate price. |

These are not ordinary grapes from Aldi. They are miniature globes of ecstatic pleasure from the Blessed Bachhus, trodden by maidens’ feet to give up their heavenly essence for our delight and delectation. But don’t tell anybody.
Also, the size of one’s glass is critical. As in most things, modesty rules. Honest.

Aldi day today. Once home, I tried the Jam Shed Shiraz at £5.99. Wonderful.

Who among us can remember partaking in a Kokkinelli or two (bottles that is) which was served free with a full sheesh kebab. Hic!
The Kokkinelli was preceded by keo beer (which wasn't served free) and the proceedings were topped off with a vile coffee served in the smallest of cups. The scramble for the bogs ensued not long after and it continued throughout the night. |
