Default ABS Warning ligh and Airbag light

Hi Guys have not been here for a while, so I have had to take the old Girl out of retirement as my Jag XF started pouting out black smoke 2,2 Diesel...In garage getting looked at...

So anyway back to the 75, |I had the front seats switched over for leather seats, and have had an issue...It turned out the the seats were missing the connector and so the connectors was removed from the car and the cables were connected using electric connectors.
I use to get a airbag warning light and if you moved the seats the airbag warning light would go out, and I put the old girl off the road...

So I collected her today and now the ABS light also comes on and My Speedo and mile counter\MPG has stopped working, while driving....

The Speedo and all is fine until the ABS light comes on...

Could it be the wiring under the seat or something else???

Regards

I think this is not related to airbag issues.
Somebody with more knowledge will elaborate with a defined explanation than mine, but it sounds to me you have an issue with the ABS reluctor ring or the pickup sensor in the front wheel hub.The Speedo also takes its readings from this to.I can't recall which side the Speedo takes its readings from but if it's not working I would be looking at this first

Front right ABS wheel sensor, the wiring to it or the magnetic reluctor built in to the wheel bearing. The speedometer uses this signal to determine the speed of the car.
