IOS 17.1 iPhone
I read this morning how iPhones with IOS 17.1 are vulnerable to hackers gaining access and being capable of shutting down the iPhone in a public place via Bluetooth. The advice is when in a public place such as in a train etc, is to shut down Bluetooth in settings. So far Apple have not introduced a patch or a fix for this latest iPhone security hack.
Remember to turn Bluetooth off. Take care |

I hadn’t heard anything. Our IT dept are normally pretty quick with stuff like that.
They did send an email last Friday asking everyone to upgrade to 17.1, although I’ve been in Ireland this week, so I haven’t. I’m still on 17.0.3 |
