Default Tomtom upate and additional program

I just wanted to inform anyone that has an Eclipse AVN2212P/ANV2227P that V8.25 maps will work on the latest available Navcore (7.832) for these devices. I now have the new map running and all the newest roads are on it.

I also got Tripmaster running on my Tomtom PND today - well sort of running , it needs a bit more work to iron out the menus.

Tripmaster is a program that runs on the TT and displays lots of sat nav info i.e. digital speedo, compass, lat/long co-ordinates, altitude, journey stats etc. Here is a screen shot:

I think it looks great on my Eclipse.

Interesting piece of software. Can this be ran on the PDA versions of TomTom?

*Goes off to google*

I don't know TBH - its only supposed to work up to Navcore v7.54, but you can tweak it to work on later versions.

I couldn't find any info on the net about it. I'm not sure what version the Navcore mine is, all I know is it's TomTom7. Oh well, looks good as well.

Click on the speed/satellite box of your TT (bottom RH corner on my unit). You should see the version on the next screen.

IIRC some TTs also have a "show version" icon somewhere.
