Default Driver’s side air bag fault.

Hi Guys,
Common enough problem but have now found the yellow plug damaged, my doing of course, so have soldered the wires together and removed the plug.
Alas that has not helped, it still has the air bag fault. The local garage checked on one of their old laptops and it just shows an air bag fault on the driver’s side, but nothing specific.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received. The garage did the soldering but refused any payment as they hadn’t fixed it!
My next MOT is September!

I would suggest seeing if Andy (Trikey) is available for you to take the car over and have it checked on the T4. (Think he has T4)

Do the same to the blue plug (seatbelt pre tensioner)

If you still get the warning, try another shock sensor.

Hi Devilish,
Thank you for the suggestion, but Tryky has moved to the West country. He does have a T4.

Brown and Gammons, a MG Garage, full T4 and servicing located at Baldock seems to be the nearest T4 to your location Tel. 01462 490049

Nothing to do with the Club but an option.
