Door mirrors
The powerfold skullcaps don't seem to be working on the mirror heaters.
According to the handbook they should switch-on with the ignition key in Pos. 2 but it's not happening. I can check for 12V across the two flying lead mirror spade connectors and/or continuity between the spades on the mirrors themselves. Any thing else to check? I've changed both front doors complete and replaced the O/S mirror assembly in the recent past. |

Did you get voltage at the spade connectors?

Mine had (a) 12V at the connectors; (b) continuity in the elements themselves, yet still neither side heated.
I fitted replacement glasses, and it fixed the problem. Fortunately they're cheap on eBay
