Default A tale of two rovers

I got my first 75 eight years ago. It was a Classic V6 2 lilre. Cowley built, pre-"Drive. Lovely soft velour, deep pile carpiets, wood, a gently purring snd smooth V6 and a very comfy ride. It was just like the Rover I had expected.
Then 4 years later, I got a very late build (16/3/05) CDTi Classic, but with everything thrown into it. Full leather and all-electric everything and more.... For all that, one could see the tell-tale signs of "Drive" with cheaper fittings and a non-carpet "carpet". The engine seemd unrefined, harsh, the suspension seemed set up tighter, but there was plenty of raw torque. This Rover felt more like an MG. Two Rover 75s, yet so very different. Comments welcomed!
