 We connected a charged battery and the engine started absolutely normally. However there was a continuous, light metallic rattling which seemed to be coming from the starter motor end of the engine. We have arranged to investigate this in two weeks' time. Simon Update: Jay contacted me before our planned investigation to say that he has decided to sell. Case closed!
