Heater Matric from Chinese MG 7
Hello there folks,
I've been meaning to replace the matrix on my ZT for well over a year now, though replacements are rather expensive. I have been searching around on the internet and have found a unit from the Chinese Saic MG 7 cars. From first looks, the matrix unit does appear to be different than the MG Rover version, however, the AC matrix appears to be the same for both. I am just asking on here if anyone has fitted one of these units to their 75 or ZT, or if this unit could be fitted, would the pipes join onto it? https://freeimage.host/i/H0rLL9S https://freeimage.host/i/H0rLZN9 Last edited by aflynn; 27th January 2023 at 17:26.. |

I replaced a RHD with a LHD unit and had to swap the pipes over which in itself was not a problem, But again you need to know the pipe sizes.

Dimensions wise it will be the same, I'm fairly sure it would slot into the existing slot. It's the fitting I'm unsure on, there's not really mention of the types of fitting. This is what the two outlets look like.
