Stereo plug
Hi dose anyone know what the adapter plug is called I would need to plug in to this so I can use a after market stereo please. This plug was hidden down by the ashtray iv done some searching on the forum and many have said its plug and play from this plug. Iv looked on ebay for a plug but what iv came across doesn't look like they will fit and number of wires are different. The second pic is the plugs that was plugged in to the plug I found down by the ashtray first pic.

Early cars were fitted with the BMW round pin plug, this changed to an ISO plug, so you need a BMW to ISO connection 😎

Thank you for info. I think it's the wrong plug I'm looking at. As been reading up and the plug I'm looking for is behind ashtray not the side. So will have another look tomorrow.

Hi all sorted now. It was wrong plug. I pulled the ashtray console out completely and found the plug hidden at the back. Plugged stereo in to it and all work great. Easy if u know what your doing and looking for. I'm still learning.
