Default Flaming June?

It's more like flaming January here today. Chilly wind and piddle down rain non-stop! Time to get the bottle of Irish out!

it's been dry so far today but did rain overnight.

It's been windy and grey all day though. Glad I'm not on the boat

Evening all, Right miserable dull rainy day it's been here. More driving steam trains on the TSW2 Spirit of steam game, I haven't touched any of the other diesel/electric ones since this steam loco game came out, Already put in a suggestion for a BR standard class 4T tank engine for the next loco top join the ranks

Lasagne & peas/sweetcorn for tea

Speaking of locos have you seen the e-coal they've come up with as a replacement for coal A molasses based briquette & a rape seed yellow coal

Not a lot, the windings on the traction motors would disintegrate. The class 47s had a max speed of 95 mph but the 47/7s on the Edinburgh-Glasgow push pull services could run at 100mph. Only modification done was a yellow sticker on the driver's desk saying they could run at 100mph in push pull formation. They were worked so hard the brake blocks had to be replaced at every "A" exam, 55 hours in traffic.

Morning all, how is everyone?

Last evening whilst getting undressed and removing my underpants, I saw something drop to the floor and scurry away, what could it be?

A bloomin spider!

How lucky I am

Morning Phil,

Didn't you have an incident before with a spider, or was it someone else on here?
Memories aren't what they used to be

Your doing well Jeff.

In October 2013, I was stabbed in the balls by a poisonous spider whilst driving in South Africa.

A very good morning to you

Cool

Morning everyone.

I have only just got out of bed. I might have had one too many at our Jubilee street party. But it was fabulous, a great coming together of community spirit.
We sang, we drank, we told jokes, we drank, we told stories of old, we drank and now I’m house sitting a pair of goldfish. No idea how I managed that but hey ho. That’s life.

Morning all. Very grey and overcast here, dampness in the air, no rain forecast though.
