Morning all.

Back home after our weekend up North.

Got to meet up with Rich on Saturday. Had a brilliant walk in brilliant sunshine on the recently re surfaced path from Tyne Riverside Country Park to George Stephenson's birthplace.

Had a lovely cuppa and home made cake at GS's birthplace made by a delightful lady who's been there for nearly 4 decades. And Quizzie met a 3 1/2 year old flat coat retriever who was a very lovey and very amorous boy . Shall definitely visit again.

Rich was OK and we chatted away before heading back for another cuppa and seeing his family before heading off.

Cheers mate, thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Sunday was off to an Axe Throwing experience in Newton Aycliffe for my birthday.(https://www.valhallanorth.co.uk). Feeling stressed? Generally naff? Have a go at this

It's properly good fun chucking properly sharp axes at a target.

Staff were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Give it a go.

Brilliant sunshine in a clear blue sky back in the Midlands with a touch of frost just to perk things up a bit.

Stay safe and take care.

Andy.

Has anyone else noticed that Ublock Origin has mysteriously vanished from your PC?

I've just had to reinstall it back on the four desktops I use throughout the house & I certainly haven't removed them All PC's Running FireFox.

Lovely, sunny morning here in the far East. SWMBO has nicked the Sportage (again) "just to get used to it"! Her Polo is getting used less and less these days (10 years old and less than 50k on it!). It goes for MOT on Wednesday, so have been doing the usual checks and cleaning to keep Mr MOT happy!

Take care all.

The big guns are out! well they were til that bleddy sciatica came back again It was time to attack that Pampas grass root as it's taking over that bit of the garden, Dear me! is that hoe spade a lethal bit o kit or what!

Our daughter got a leaving present of a new "spade" shaft signed by all her colleagues but it's a pick axe handle How can somebody not know the difference between a spade handle & a pick axe handle

Must be some college humour that goes over my head Any how what a tool, I whittled the pick axe handle down to fit this 3lb hoe spade I got off the bay for 6 Quid, Dear me! It rips chucks out of that huge huge root ball effortlessly.

Next door was watching me behind the curtains hacking, slashing & cursing at this before that damn sciatica stopped play

Note to self wear gloves when pulling out pampas grass as it's like pulling out razor blades. Already on donkey painkillers & cider

Morning all, its currently 10 a.m and 29C. I dare not complain, but a break from this heat would be most welcomed

How is everyone?

Cool

Morning Phil and fellow early risers.

Bought myself a high pressure washer yesterday, and it’s Yellow. The steps down to the garage were covered in moss and that needed to be removed. Also there is a concrete area at the bottom of the decking that need cleaning. Looks so much better now.

Morning all, send some heat this way Phil, it was 4.5 on the drive in to work this morning.

I have to get the pressure washer out for the cars Bob, they look like they have been in a field at the moment.
