Default Windows Not Opening or Closing.

Took my car for rear suspension work, and collected yesterday.
Got to work and it was unusually warm, so while I wait to go in, and play scrabble, I open the windows to let some air in.
Only my window won't open, and the passenger window opens fully and won't close.
So I check all windows from their own button.
Rear driver side opens but will not close, passenger rear not working, passenger front opens but will not close.
Managed to close all windows by locking the car with the key and holding it to the left. BTW power folds are working as normal.

Got home and switched the window control from my door with an old non-powerfold one. Same situation driver side, but both windows passenger side work as normal.
Took apart powerfold control switch and gave it a spray with WD.
That one is now performing the same as the old one. Passenger side fine, drivers side not.
Nothing apart from powerfolds is actually working from the drivers door switch.
Anyone got a clue WTF is going on here?

Thanks in advance!

WD40 will not help. When you have the switch unit completely apart, clean the contacts with a dry cloth.

i clean the window control boards with electrical contact cleaner if i have an issue - to date it has been the powerfolds not the windows - some advise to clean with a pencil rubber as well.
