Default Any radio engineers out there?

I have a high-line, boot mounted o.e. Philips radio. It was behaving as if the FM aerials weren't connected; a station "search" produced perhaps one or two results on the whole band, even using "search sensitive"! It would also refuse to hold on to BBC R4, deciding to go off on a fruitless search for a better frequency. In the Service mode the Quality reading (whatever that means) was 0 or 2, whereas 12 to 15 is more normal.

It was discovered by substituting another unit that the radio is faulty. I've taken the covers off and it's rather full of PCBs with no sign of any burnt-out components. If I could get a circuit diagram, is there anyone with a better knowledge than me of RF and IF stages who would like to have a go at it? A tall order I know, but I thought I'd ask!

Simon.
