My first slave went at 140,000, DMF was inspected and was ok.
Second slave went at 224,000, DMF was inspected and was ok. Still on original master and DMF after 230,000. |

You should have kept the modified cap on and piped it to a separate reservoir somewhere near the brake master, maybe. You could then bleed the clutch anytime you like. A regular service schedule with the brakes would likely see the clutch system lasting longer than usual. TC |

Reverse bleed success
Today managed to get the reverse bleed of the clutch done and below is the photo of the crud that came out, managed to push about 200ml of new fluid through.
The procedure has taken the clutch from pretty stiff mosst of the time and since i got the car over 2 years ago now to feeling almost new, pretty impressed with the result and makes the task of getting at master cylinder reservoir worth the effort. Defo actively looking for replacement master cylinder its seen better days it think?

Its a great thread my clutch is still superb after reverse bleeding even with a slightly manky master as pictured.
