![]() Ok so my brother can’t get any local garages to look at his car, so in the past we have rebuilt a rover 800 engine but what’s throwing him now is if any liners have dropped what to do then ?
Thanks

I have linked Rimmers Bros but a google search will give you plenty of alternatives https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-LCJ000050SHIM A description of your problems would help give better advice as K series head gaskets go in a number of ways including , elastomer failure ,which cross contaminates fluids, Fire ring failure ,which pressurises the coolant, Has the car had an history of head gaskets ? The big question is has the car boiled up and had a serious overheat ? as that is usually the cause of sunken liners Last edited by TourerSteve; 3rd June 2021 at 20:31.. |
