![]() I prefer making my own curries etc, least you can control what's in them and you know its not loaded with monosodium glutamate. Very occasionally have a Chinese (very limited "menu" that I like), not a fan of Indian. Main thing I'm not keen on with takeaways is they always have hulking great lumps of onion, I'm ok with the flavour contribution from onion but finely chopped, not huge great divots of it.
I'm supposed to be weeding the front garden but the French Moto GP meeting is being shown live on ITV4 ![]() |

![]() Just called a (temporary?) halt to garden operations, temperature dropped noticeably, wind rising and clouds building. Having some lunch and see what develops.

![]() I'd rather you kept Jeff's bristols out of the conversation. I'm getting some very disturbing images

![]() I find chopping onions etc a pain in the butt! Doesn't really affect my eyes, just tedious! What I do is I have a mini blender, its about the size of a large mug. Very roughly chop an onion, garlic if required, throw them in the mini blender and blitz for a few seconds. Comes out in pieces no more than a couple of millimetres square.
