![]() A ong time ago I belonged to the 1100/1300 club (well smeone had to) and they had a list of members who would help out if the need arose. It was of course volentary and members could opt in if they felt they could. The list of member and their phone numbers was then published and sent out with the news letter. Why could this not be done here? member who would be prepared to help anothe club member in trouble would opt in and state the kind of help they coulf provide. For example if a member was another part of the country and broke down they could look up the nearest member and that memmebr could give assistance, even if it were only a cup of tea and the use of a land line. some member who were good at me4chanical work etc could also be called upon to help with maitenance if this were needed by others. What do you think?
