Could be a Canbus problem? Or corrosion?

Yes, I agree,

I just cant find what might be corroded, and if it is a Canbus issue then I need some help please as it's all witchcraft to me!

You should be able to have an health on the car, someone may come forward for the parts before the meet starts, have you added them to the for sale section

I wouldn't go to the doctors to get yer plenum rodded - I've heard it's not very pleasant.
