If it's any help ... I've used Osram Nightbreakers on a few occasions, imo they are brilliant (excuse the pun).
A little on the pricey side from outlets like Halfrauds but can be had cheaply on Evilbay, probably the best I've used in any car so I plan to change all 4 in my 75. Not sure their claim of being 50% brighter than a standard bulb are strictly true but the length of the beam pattern is very much increased so ... having used them I can recommend them. BTW ... have you adjusted the beam height with the little thumb wheel? if not .. they may be on the lower setting! Just a thought. Ok .... I mis-read your post details, I assumed you had ordinary filament bulbs Doh! disregard everything I just said. Last edited by gadget1960; 30th December 2018 at 20:44.. Reason: mis-read post |

My Xenons reach for at least 1/4 mile, having adjusted them to the very threshold of legality for the MOT, and have the highest OE specification of Osram bulbs fitted.
That will cheer the Xenon haters up! Halogens are for grandads. |

I had a pair of spotlights in the shed so decided to chuck them on to improve things. Fitted the spots to the bumper, fed the cables up to the lights to splice in to the loom ( a bodge, I know!). Unplugged the plug from the top of the headlight (ignition and lights swiched on) and heard a whirring noise. "Thats strange" I thought. Reconnected plug: "Whirrr!" ??? Hold on a minute! Looked on the dash, found a thumbwheel. Turned all the way down! "DOH!!!" Took the spots back off, turned the thumbwheel up. Hey presto, I can see!!!

I have to say, compared to previous cars, and even my mother's Clio, which has an excellent beam patterned halogen headlight, mine are excellent. Sent from my SM-A600FN using Tapatalk
