There's a white gold Rover '75 Contemporary I've seen with the reg "1 GG". The plate must be worth way more than the car it sits on, so I can only assume it's owned by a monied person of good taste .

When dad bought Tarquin it came with H1 GOY stuck over the old plates. Previous owner didn't hand over the title to the plates though, so they had to be destroyed.

I wonder if the DVLA removed plates that ended in...
"IRA", "UDA", "UVF" etc etc? |

We have 4 in our family.
All beginning L444 *** with our initials at the end. Bought my wife hers for her 30th birthday then after my nan left me a little money I bought 3 others, 1 each for my 2 boys and one with my own initials. Just seemed like a nice thing to spend the money on as a permanent reminder of her every time I look at my car. The kids know nothing about theirs, although coincidentally my eldest turns 17 tomorrow and will be getting his plates wrapped up as a present to put on the used VW Up! he also knows nothing about. |
