I havent got that up close and personal with mine but as I have a receipt from the previous owner saying boots replaced it must be possible lol.

This seems to be an increasing problem with “ new old stock “ parts. The metalwork is ok but the rubber has started to perish.

Had a genuine MG / Rover CV joint fitted to my 45, and 18 months later noticed that the rubber had split already !
