Fake Continental Tyres on eBay?
I'm looking for a new set of 225/45/18 tyres, and these have come up locally, and seem to be very reasonably priced.
Ok, they are not new (I'm not a fan of second hand tyres usually!) but these seem very cheap... The problem being, I cant see a Continental EcoContact 6 listed anywhere on the Continental website. I can find a EcoContact 5 but these are branded as 'ContiEcoContact 5' on the sidewall. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F323314279338 Too good to be true?!

If you look at his feedback all he sells is the odd tyre now and again !!
An opportunist seller I would call him. How can they be the wrong size if he did 200 miles on them ECO6 do exist ........ http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Co...oContact-6.htm

Also he's showing they have 6mm tread left.
So he's lost 2mm of depth in 200 miles. Probably on a track day then !!!

I saw the review page of the ECO6, although it only lists one tyre size for them.
Presumably because they've just replaced the ECO5, but nothing on the Continental website, it only lists the ECO5...

Seller informs me they have a date stamp of 4117, apparently 'he's got someone else interested' I think I'll leave them.
Seem too good to be true.
