A lot of people don’t understand anything about injectors. I used to take mine out of my Montego in the morning after arriving at work, and take them Just round the corner where I worked to a Bosch stockist who tested them for me. I was amazed at how the spray pattern deteriorated over a period of time. He let me watch them operate from behind the screen in front of the test rig. Blocked holes, dribbling injectors,spray pattern none existent. No wonder it was smoking.
