Arctic, I'm assuming that you lifted it onto at least one set, most people won't have a trolley jack that lifts high enough to counter the drop of the wheels when lifted. It would be much more stable though.

I like those ramps Dawn. Where did you get them from?

HI Fred.
As the front set of ramps are the very old type and would hold a Landrover, they are a bit to steep to drive up with the MGZT or in fact the Rover the front is jacked up in stages x 2 to accept the ramps, then the rear is also jacked up.

If I am only wanting the front end up I use the smaller ramps which I can drive up, if I want the rear up only then i use the larger ramps.

For those asking, I had the ramps made. It was a chap on the internet a few years ago who made ones to order to what you required load wise, height wise, width, run up etc etc. Mine are very wide and a long run up so the lower modern stuff doesn't catch. That's why I call them girlie ramps!

The reason I liked these ones was the run up part bolts off, so I can work better with it out the way. I can virtually sit up under it at the back, much easier. Well, until I found the broken spring, now I have two broken Rovers! Maybe I shouldn't have got the ramps out hahaha!
