![]() I am not sure if it is a common fault but on my other halfs 75 hers stopped working a while ago.
After checking fuses i swapped her demister relay in the underbonnet fusebox with the one out of my car. Borh demisters then worked so I assume that the removal replacing of the relay cleaned up the contacts. Might be worth a try. |

![]() Common fault. Mine only had two wires working when I got it, and they died pretty soon. I've seen another tourer with the same problem too.
It looks to me like the rubber seal on the tailgate glass gives off some sort of corrosive product, and it attacks the ends of the copper traces. |

![]() If it's scratched I think there is a metallic repair paint you can use to get it working again.
