Default CDTi Clutch...

Why are the 1.8 and 2.0 CDTi part numbers different?

I can get a good price on a UUB100193 but this is listed for the 1.8...

Anyone have an idea?

The pressure plate is different, and the NASP 1800 has a smaller diameter driven plate.

However the slave cylinder is the same on 1800, 2500, and diesel

Anyway, here you go, if you haven't sourced the rest of the gear

Does that mean the above (my p/n) is for a 1.8 NASP?

Lordy lord... a 1.8 with no turbo? Bet thats awful.

Its listed for 1.8 and 1.8T as far as I can see, and I've still no idea why the P/N is different for the slave over the range.

And as for that Freelander, Brian, I trust your judgement, can you confirm it is 100% the same part, or does it just happen to fit, but with a few mm difference here and there, or a different shape cover etc?

Edit:- my mistake I should have said slave cylinder in the title, thats what I was getting at, but would love to know the EXACT situation with the Freelander, as you can get an AP branded one for £75!

The Freelander TD4 clutch is identical to the 75 and ZT diesel, fitting one to my ZT this week if the premises move goes as planned

With an LUK slave, or Delphi/AP ? I trust you will not be fitting the metal slave based on your recent comments on that item !
Cheers

I think this will answer your question Pete

Based upon a personally experienced failure rate of 100% of the Tazu CSC thrust bearing, I will be fitting an LUK variant
