Gas strut's
Are the gas struts on a saloon boot loid the same as the ones fitted to a Tourer Tail gate ??

Dunno, but often wondered if stronger ones fitted might lift the lid when the button is pressed. I know there's a mod but the springs look more suitable for Tower Bridge!

I don't think stronger struts will lift the boot, they are designed to hold the weight once lifted, this is why some members fit the springs.
