looks great! I have my reg embedded onto my footage, which is why I always edit it, and lose the 1080p (my video editing software does not support 1080).

One thing I would suggest, is to turn the lens down even further, mine is at the lowest, and records the top of the dash. The reason for this is on a bright day, the auto exposure will expose for the sky, and therefore make the level out the brightness of the sky, and make some of the rest of the footage very dark (you will have a pretty sky, but have cars and surrounding details very dark )

Picture is looking good, I do have one tip for you though- aim the camera a notch lower. At the moment you have the horizon at around half way up the frame meaning that half the picture is sky. The sky during the day tends to be a very lot brighter than the road and the vehicles (mainly). As the camera uses the total scene brightness to adjust the exposure you may find that sometimes the vehicles and road (the bit you're interested in) is too dark. By aiming the camera lower so you have about one third sky and two thirds road the camera will still see just as far ahead but you'll find the brightness and contrast of the scene overall a little better.

EDIT: Typed this and went out, forgetting to hit submit so I see CLF beat me to it!

These are great little dashcams and I think that roverbarmy has made a good choice.
I will be ordering another one up, to go in my Tourer.

To be honest, I find the quality not far behind the Nextbase Ride that I have fitted to my motorcycle and these retail at £249!

I used this 12v to 5v mini USB connector:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-to-5V-...HXodMRbtWMrbAA
It takes quite a while to be delivered but as quick as the camera from China! It says UK stock in the listing and appears to be posted in UK.
Don't forget to get the type 10 card as the normal cards are too slow and don't work with the camera.
