Not long now until "Hattie" takes her last ride. She's been the best car I've owned £ for £! Sadly, as with many old girls, her nether regions have let her down and she's been replaced by a younger prettier model 😢

I'm guessing she is being scrapped? I see the headrests have been removed. Sad, lovely colour indeed.

Yeah she will be next week. I've grabbed the headrests and will also take off the wood wheel and grabbed loads of bits to keep for spares for my other 2 diesel ZT's.

Took a lot longer to sort than I imagined but today was the day. Been sorting out the other 2 instead of getting Hattie ready to leave, but couldn't put it off any longer

Sad.....

It does come to this with even our most loved vehicles.

All we can do is either keep them mothballed as a kind of museum piece - or use them and accept the inevitable
