BPlight macgas light latest..
Some might remember the issues and concerns I had with sourcing refills.
There was a ready source of refills from Homebase, but they wanted +£32 for the refill and you had to produce a receipt to prove you bought it from them, or they charged for a bottle deposit on top of around £40. Other sources when you could find them would charge £24 to £45 for a refill - all 10 Kg size. The good news is that Homebase will now just do a swap for a refill, no need to have bought from them originally and their cost just over £27 for a 10Kg refll - sense at last and available all over the UK. I do have a source some 30 miles away, at £25. I ring him, give debit card details and he brings it back home with him to the next village to where I live. That has been my only way for the past few years, but the change of heart by Homebase makes it possible to get a fresh bottle anywhere at just a little more cost.
