Cheddar Gorge Run - Sunday 17th September 2017.
Following some enquiries and requests today I thought I would post up a meet for the ever popular Cheddar Gorge Run. Date of meet Sunday 17th September 2017 to try and avoid a clash with the National Meet at Roverfest in August, the many other meets taking place over the summer months and the bank holiday in August.
I have posted some photos of previous Cheddar Meets. Could also be an ideal opportunity to take a brilliant photo of your car in the beautiful Somerset Countryside . Meet details: Meet at Cheddar Garden Centre for Breakfast at 10.30am http://www.wyevalegardencentres.co.u...es/Cheddar/918 Then we will take a nice leisurely drive up into Cheddar Gorge for sightseeing and photos. In addition to the above the plan is then to go to a Brewers Fayre pub at Glastonbury which is no more than a 30 minute drive from Cheddar. Some members might have been to this Brewers Fayre before as it the pub we went to the Saturday before the Haynes National Meet. Here is a link to the pub. http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/pub-re...stonburyMendip Members attending: 1. Nev The Bear 2. Stephen Fussell (tbc) 3. matt darke 4. Daisy-Dawlish 5. Rick-sta (tbc) 6. I usually take the Rover off the road at the end of August, but I may extend that I'll let you know nearer the time. Pencil me in please.
