Thanks again to the club directors/moderators & marshall and of course to Les @ SMC who donated my prize (the £50 voucher to spend at SMC Trading). I ended up with an auto dipping rear mirror and a heated washer jet kit. Now I am keeping the 75 it got a treat and I must say I am enjoying this retrofitting lark

I can see a new rear parcel shelf with electric blind and a cruise retrofit coming soon....

Along with a walnut brow, walnut 5 hole switch panel, walnut cupholder covers walnut cigarette lighter. walnut ashtray and hazard switch surround so I can fit the bits of real wood I have and get rid of what Rincewind affectionally calls (and I agree with him) baby vomit (light oak)

Sounds like the prize you won is going to cost you a fortune Chris

UPDATE.

The washer jets and dimming mirror were used in anger for the first time last week. Before hand had been driving in daylight and warm conditions.

But last week had frost on thursday and drove home at 8pm on friday.

Both are worthwhile upgrades for those who want them.

The auto dimming mirror particularly. It really makes night driving easier without having glare from the mirror on dual carriageways.

Thanks again to Les for his kind raffle prize donation
