Local scrappy

Been to my favourite scrappy they have 4 rover 75s plus ztt asked about prices as follows leather interior black with grey piping plus black door cards £70 pair ztt rear lights £30 wood dash £10 full dash £20 .black header tank £10 .doors £20 bumpers £20 .those prices are if you take them off yourself.very reasonable i think.

I meant to mention yesterday, there is a black 75 diesel in the salvage yard in Crown Street, Wolverhampton. (there are two scrapyards round there. Locals will know about the one next to the railway line, This is the other one, a smaller place just down from Premier Tyres). Nice folk there and they take the bits off for you so no need to take armfuls of tools.

Mainline Salvage baled what was left of the couple of ZTs in their place last week.

I prefer to go in and have a good mooch round tbh

Me too, they were happy to let me have a look round the car while they took the bits off that I wanted.

I mean at other cars too that might have hard to get bits as well, a couple of years ago i bought a couple of headlight washers off a mk2 astra gte for £5,sold them on ebay in 3 days for £148.00

I can't remember the last time I saw a Mk 2 Astra of any sort, let alone a GTE in a scrapyard!

It was 90% stripped, not alot left tbh.
There was only the washers worth taking.
