Default Remote door locking/unlocking

Hi to everyone

Can anyone help, I have a ZT Diesel saloon on a 04 plate great car, but on Saturday I accidently put my elbow on the door button whilst the car was stationary I thought nothing of this until I parked up and locked the car remotley using the fob. When I returned to the car again using the fob to open the car nothing happened on the first press other than the lights flash as they do, on the second press the passenger front door and the back doors all unlocked (as they should) but not the drivers door.It seems as if they are out of sequence after me pressing down the drivers door knob, I have tried all sorts of permitations to try and correct this but I still have to open the drivers door with a turn of the key !! does anybody have any ideas on how to get it back in sequence ? look foreword to hearing from you

Best Regards Steve..............

is the plunger not popping back up again when you open the door from the inside?

If you do a search I think you'll find a thread or two about this...

I seem to remember something can foul the pin area, so the solenoid isn't stong enough.
Do you hear the lock trying at all?

Probably have to remove the door card..

Good Luck

Not sure if it is quite the same thing bit IIRC, if you lock a door with the button, you have to pull the door lever 2 times, the first to unlock, the second to open. Don't know if this helps ot not.
