So disappointed.
It`s already showing how people are abandoning us....
....£1 only a $1.33 10% down in half a dozen hours.

God help us, because it`s to late now.

We should all accept the result, it was a democratic referendum, far more representative of the people that a general election which saw the last Government voted in on 30 odd per cent of the vote.

It's sad that some remain politicians are publicly talking down our country and the decision but that's politicians for you and the reason people are fed up with them.

The pound took a huge knock...surprise, surprise, that was always going to happen. It has already started to recover after the Bank of England statement and as things settle it will continue to do so.

Expect a backlash from those nasty EU bureaucrats. We can handle it and in the longer term will be rid of them.

We should not have been put in this position in the first [place. We signed for a Common Market, yet, by stealth, we have been slowly drawn into this organisation which is run on non democratic lines, namely, we cannot vote them out should we be dissatisfied.

I was fortunate to be born an Englishman and no one has the right to take away my birthright. This reason and this alone is more than sufficient to want to vote Leave.

I am thrilled to bits that we managed to pull this off. Thanks to NIgel for his fine efforts.

London, Scotland and Northern Ireland is what made the vote close, the rest of England made the right decision.

Does not Wales need a salute to common sense also ?

And don't forget that the 2 first poll results were Gibraltar and the Orkneys- Both who voted remain. As to why the Orkneys would want to continue to see the erosion of their fishing rights is beyond me

I can see why Gib. voted remain as they are heavily integrated with Spain for their work-force. And this need not change as a result of the poll.....

Well I never! The poll actually reflected how things turned out; albeit with not such a significant gap between the In and Out... or how few people voted for Penguins and Unicorns...

I'm not happy with the result but I accept it and hope it works out. I'm worried about what will happen now as I live in France, have done for 25 years. What's going to change for me ?

Indeed it does, Dragrad, apologies for leaving Wales out of the credits. They did a fine job.

I would be interested to hear what you think the opinion of the French is about our leaving.

The French are just happy that their country isnt trampled over by fighting elements .

The British and the Germans used it as a battleground.

Paid merry hell with the vines .
