Been there, done that
Then we had straights, we've still got these, I just need to refurbish them Now we are using the hairpins for a while, then when winter arrives I'll put a set of unions on that are on our donor car

Decided to finally do the lower mount bushes this afternoon...only 30 min job my rotund rear...first thing was could not get the large Powerflex bush in the mount no matter what it just wouldn't go in even trying to edge it round with a screwdriver...solved the problem though by getting as much in as possible then placing it over the slots on some gutter grating in the road and getting my Brother in Law to drive over it which worked a treat...second problem was the engine dropped a few inches so the small bush bolt hole was too far out...solved that problem by jacking the gearbox side so the engine raised and tilted back into position...all in all about 2hrs just to change a bush...least the vibrations through the dash and steering wheel are 99% gone lol.

EDIT: In hindsight looking back and now I know that the engine drops and moves more than expected I think in future I'd just put a jack under the engine first to support it
