Obviously its each to there own but i really dont like those wire wheels, far to old school. Why put old looking wheels on a car thats modern, it aint no e type but visually were all different
The 20" wheels would look much better without the chrome, now that is far to much

I had 72 spoke chrome wire wheels on my C GT they were a nightmare to keep clean a nightmare to fit tyres to (inertube required) and a nightmare to balance! I loved them, they looked great and were worth all the hassel. I used the car as my every day transport so I had to keep them covered in WD40 all winter, that was fun to clean off in spring, NOT.

My view:
The wire wheels look fantastic on the 75, add to the classic retro look of the car. The 20-inch rims - the car looks great, I personally think the weeks look awful - horrible design, too shiny and too big for the car. Red pimpmobile - not as bad as the 20inch rims, but fairly ugly - last time i saw anything like those they were in Richard Keel's gob in a bond movie.

20" wheels - it could work, but I don't like chrome wheels, and I think they've over done the lowering. Looks as though the suspension has collapsed.
Before we traded our 75 in for the ZTT, I was thinking of fitting ZT suspension and ZT 18" wheels to it - a combination that would look both standard, but with a twist. Has anyone done this? I am sure that someone must have? |

As for my opinion of the car, don't get me wrong, I'd never do this to my car. But as far as boy racer cars go & with bling being the current tread, I can see how this car would appeal. Last edited by < N I C K >; 15th November 2006 at 22:45.. |
