![]() Can anyone explain this Match 5--4,082 winners £15 = £61,230
Match 4--7,879 winners £51 = £401,829. How can they have a bigger prize fund for 4 than for 5. ![]() btw i didn't have 1 number. |

![]() This is because their is a fixed percentage of the prize money goes to each number of winners. For 5 matches it is 2% of the prize fund and for 4 matches it is a lot higher percentage because more winners are expected.
Wed lottery numbers were 7 and multiples of it - 14, 21, 35 etc which is a very popular sequence which is why there were so many winners - I think they normally only expect less than 50 winners. |
