Wanted to to mine yesterday, but as usual SWMBO had other ideas.
If she doesn't let me play with my new toy more, and soon, then all the rest will be flying in all directions out of my pram. Boo hoo.

Scooterchick - the AA will charge you a packet, even if they agree to come out. Don't worry though, it's very easy.

The only tricky bits are:

a) Getting the pesky cover clips off the black plastic trim at the base of the windscreen. The ones you need to get off are the first three in line, starting from the passenger side of the screen (they're visible when the bonnet's open). Stick some tape on them before you start, otherwise they'll fly off and disappear in the engine bay.

And:

b) Getting the water shield to release. It's much easier if you take the aforementioned three clips off - not two clips as it says in the HOW TO.... pdf file.

I have asked for this to be ammended but it only one of a myriad of jobs, someone will get around to it. Thanks for adding this to the thread.

thumpjunkie's got a new bird so he's posted missing. The next falkirk cruise I'll see if kevG can do it, he's a friendly helpful chap. Good call MM!!
