NAVALL 3 & DVR Camera - Not working.
Tourned on my DVR camera via the app today to check the files and I have the following on the screen.
The camera is powered, but I have 3 solid lights. I checked the side button and it came off of the camera, although I can get it back on it does not stay fixed, has this caused the camera to stop working ? Are there any better cameras that work with the Navall 3, because to be honest this is a real cheap bit of equipment. |

After all that has happened I am happy that my main unit is now functioning as expected. The camera failing is the least of my worries. I am not going to be able to get it out for a couple of weeks due to holidays. Karl |

With the unit powered up use a paper clip and push the button and see if the camera then works

Jeff & Sean,
The camera is working again. I did the reset as per Jeffs instructions, no difference, so decided to have a quick look at the back of the Navall 3 to check connection and they were fine. One last option was to remove the plug and and reseat, still nothing so unplugged the whole unit and reseated the plugs and hey presto all working again. Can only assume that this was a internal issue with the Navall that could only be cleared by removing ALL power.. I have refitted the end cap, it just needs a good twist to lock it. |
