I never thought that The Young ones aged as well as Fawlty Towers or BlackAdder. The university challenge episode was a good one though. The Bottom series was absolutely classic, did you ever see the film?

The wife and I are both avid fans of The young ones. Vivian's Ford Anglia was hilarious.
The episode with Motorhead singing Ace of spades always sticks in my mind. I never liked Alexi sale though .

That if I recall is the same episode. May even have been the first episode as the university challenge one, Bambi. (edit: just checked it, it was the 7th)

I enjoyed the series but your right, they were ment too do more episodes and series, but they didn't get the tv viewers they wanted.

Still enjoy watching them tho.

Thought someone might mention the Ford Anglia with the flames on the side and the bonnet mod a Leg.

That was the same episode as bambi, Motorhead really tore it up on that episode. Best episode of series two.
