Default 2nd Anniversary

Having enjoyed a 2.0 KV6 Club saloon I decided to upgrade to a higher spec model with a bit more oomph. So two years ago today, I caught a train to Sutton Coldfield and collected my present car, a top spec Hi-Line Connie Tourer with 2.5 KV6 and auto box.
2 years later I still get the same feeling of enjoyment when I go to the car, together with the pleasurable driving experience I got on my return journey from collecting her.
Out of all the cars I have owned or driven over the last 50 years, she's definitely now my joint favourite.

It most certainly is a nice car in much sort after colour and it's also a credit to the 2 club members who owned it before me. Thanks to them I'm driving a 13 year old car that feels like it's just come off the line.

I remember the feeling like it was yesterday, from when i collected it at around midnight from Devon (after leaving the house at 5am, following a few meetings and train journeys). The long drive back, was a total pleasure and after owning a few ZT's, I had almost forgotten how refined the 75 Was.

I'm so happy that it is still getting looked after and appreciated.

"I had almost forgotten how refined the 75 Was". Well it's thanks to you and Simon Hubbard that it's still a beautiful and refined car. Every time I drive it I can't get over the smooth combination of the 2.5 KV6 and Jatco box, whisper quiet in normal driving plus a satisfying growl when using kick down.

When Ford launched the Sierra they claimed "Man and Machine in perfect harmony" a claim they did not deliver but thankfully, Rover did with the 75.

I know exactly how you feel - about to brave the cold outside, and even with my terrible man-flu I'm still happy doing it... as I'm getting in to my ZT-T.

I hate Man-Flu, it's one of those things women don't understand! On the other hand, men have to understand that when a woman catches a cold, it might be Bronchial Pneumonia, Pleurisy or something worse.
