Default Help with OBD code

My friend has a 2003 75 V6 auto and the eml came on. I used my code reader and it read DTC 02 - Fault 01 Pending 06.

Any idea what the problem might be please?

In my experience Simon, fault codes on the V6 engine management are in the format 'P0000' and yours is clearly very different from that. On my own car I have come across false readings when using equipment other than T4. There's a club T4 owner in your area: Chris.

On my code reader I think that would mean that I have one confirmed fault and 6 pending or transitory They are not the actual codes .
I think you now need to start scrolling to get the actual codes ?

Thanks, I did scroll down and thats all the information that was showing.

Perhaps I should have pressed enter on 'Fault 01' and then scrolled down?

I've reset it now, so we'll have to wait for it to come back on again
