Just spotted that now when you pointed it out, I knew how to spell it, me rushing that's what it is, bashing the keyboard like its game of Whack a mole. I've got the form type air filter which shouldn't get oil through.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-D...oAAMXQVERS2rNr I've put my original filter back on while I was doing the PCV filter.

Got a question here.
If its indeed the maf regarding saving fuel, Would I be better leaving it off or should I put it back on despite the slight hesitation's during warm up?
Or would not make a difference? Just thinking with the Maf unplugged that the ECU isn't getting the correct readings of how much is in going into the intake. I assume with the Sensor off it goes into a standard setting?

Afternoon folks just got back now, Rich is happy with his wheels I've got cash.
it was a very interesting the car conked out twice nope not kidding either, couldn't rev the thing what so ever. Going up hill was interesting all you heard was ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Come on you beep.  But managed to get there and unplugged the MAF sensor while the deal was going down, on the way home with no MAS, it ran Like a please fill blank dream. Only problem is, its drinking fuel like a V8, mpg has gone down, need to replace it asap. Very happy and now know the 100% cause of it.
