Default P.S.P leak ??

Does anyone Know why I have oil under the P.S.P.
I have heard somewhere that an O ring might be the cause.
Had a look on Rimmers but not much joy there.
Thanks

If you drain the reservoir of fluid by taking off the pipe that leads to the inlet on the pump, the. Place a rag under the inlet to catch the pipe full of fluid when you remove the 2 10 mm bolts, the o ring sits in there in between a recess and the flange. It is from memory 15mm diameter 2mm cross section.

It solved my leak in the same place. I also tightened 2 of the through body allen bolts the 2 you can access from the front.

Default P.S.P Leaking ?

Thanks for the link. I am hoping its the O ring only, or I'll have to get another pump.

If you use that link, go to their home page first and you will see that they now specify a Rover 75 specific kit as well. But it is £30 or so, so worth popping down to halfords and pick up an assortment of o rings for a fiver first.

I tightened up the two 10 mm bolts and it stopped leaking.
The o ring is ok.
Job done. Phew could have been worse.
Thanks.
