![]() getting a very small leak on the joints where the bleed nipple pipe connects to the plastic joinner where the fuel burner would sit, tried new jubelie clips, also cut back the rubber pipe 20mm both sides of the plastic joiner, ive done this on both the joints in this area and they still look damp and signs of coolent still comming out
any ideas how to stop this the joiners look ok with no cracks, new coolent hoses perhaps, the ones on there look a bit worn and flimsy too touch |

![]() Usually new hoses is the fix of choice, however you could try a DIY method such as self-amalgamating tape, or sealant of some kind.

i will wait till i get home from holiday tommorow as the car has been doing very well other than this small leak im getting around 48mpg touring around the lake district, and what a place to come love the kirkstone pass i have some amalgamating tape at home but will try a smear of silicone pipe sealent on the joinners first to see if that holds if not i will get some new pipes thanks gaz |
